About Page Pic

In August of 2005, I had the opportunity to visit a fantastic hostel called Times Square Beds and Rooms in New York City, where the owners had a computer and midi setup. They turned me onto Reason 3.0 and told me about the possibilities of creating music, that Reason had the instrument sounds built into the software. Essentially if you knew how to play keyboard, you could play a whole orchestra.

In the winter of 2005 I purchased a Roland RD-700SX, and a new computer with the intention of making music on the computer for fun. I had been composing my own songs on piano for a while now and thought it would be awesome to finally add all the other instruments I was hearing in my head into my compositions. So I decided to get Reason 3.0 and get to work.

I am a computer tech by trade, low on the totem pole. I am not interested in working in an office the rest of my life. Currently I am trying to find an online business that will work well. The first one I am starting is this site.

Music is what I love to do, it feels great to be able to bring such happiness and joy to people, it makes me feel fulfilled and complete. The downside is that it is difficult to make money in this industry, enough for it to be your sole source of income.

What I would like to do with this site is provide my music to the public for a small fee of $1.50 each month. There will be a free download area with complete tracks in high quality mp3 sound files. But if you become a fan and would like to hear more, you'll have to become a member and pay each month. You'll get unlimited downloads and full access to all songs available at that time, can cancel at any time, and new content will be uploaded each month. I will try to upload at least two new songs every month. My first goal is to have 5,000 fans, the second is 10,000, then who knows from there. This is an experiment in the power of the internet, where millions of people are within your virtual reach. If you dig what you hear, or know someone that may, please pass this website onto them. I can use all the help I can get, and it would be much appreciated.

Thanks!
